Reforest'Action invites you to finance the reforestation of this plot of land following the storm of 1999 !

The project at a glance

Context

Initially composed of birch trees, this stand was replanted with spruce trees following the 1999 storm that had an unprecedented impact on the French forests. Unfortunately, successive waves of drought have severely degraded the forest. Today, the massif must be restored to ensure the future of the ecosystem. 

More than 3000 trees of various species are introduced on the plot. This approach will promote the emergence of a mixed forest, which will be better able to resist possible climatic and biological hazards. This diversification will also provide habitats for biodiversity and increase the carbon storage capacity of the stand, which will thus contribute to the fight against global warming.
