In Sumatra, local communities get involved in the mangrove restoration

In Sumatra, Indonesia, our mangrove restoration project, initiated in 2017, aims to increase the capacity of this ecosystem to protect coastlines and reduce the risk of natural disasters, as well as to create income-generating activities for local communities. Launch of the new season of mangrove restoration in Sumatra

A new season of mangrove restoration has opened in February in Sumatra. Tree nurseries were supplied with seeds and with mangrove propagules thanks to the common endeavor of local communities.
