Information on the discontinuation of online sales

Dear contributor,

Since 2010, Reforest'Action has offered people the chance to contribute to global reforestation through its platform, where they can act by buying trees to plant, generating multiple benefits for the environment and local populations.

Thanks to contributors like you, Reforest'Action has planted over 30 million trees in 46 countries, and we would like to thank you for your action in supporting forests.

Today, the context is changing, and our business is becoming more specialized. The triple crisis of climate, biodiversity and water is forcing us to act on these global challenges and to move faster.

To maximize the scope of our action, we have chosen to focus on the creation of projects financed exclusively by companies. It was a difficult choice, but which enables us to refocus our energy and resources on actions that meet the challenges. This decision explains the evolution of our website and means the end of our online sales service.

Main dates to remember:

End of “offer trees” solution on July 1st, 2023
End of subscription option on July 1st, 2023
Tree and carbon credit sales will cease on November 1st, 2023

Between now and November 1st, 2023, you can of course continue to act on our website. Your trees will be planted, and you will be able to find a description of the project you have chosen and related news on our new website.

Online sales service discontinued

Your data will not be used for other purposes, nor communicated to a third party.

In compliance with Article 5d of the RGPD, personal data collected and processed for the purposes cited in our "personal data protection policy" page, will be kept but not used for a limited period of time and strictly necessary to achieve the intended purposes and unless otherwise ordered by you within the following timeframes:

You have a right of access, rectification and opposition, as well as deletion and portability when your data has been collected on the basis of consent and/or during the performance of a contractual obligation. To do so, you must send your request, with proof of identity (surname, first name, personalized identifier), to the following postal address: REFOREST'ACTION - 10 RUE DAGUERRE 92500 Rueil-Malmaison or to the following e-mail address: rgpd@reforestaction.com. In the event of a dispute, the person concerned may submit a request directly to the relevant supervisory authority (CNIL).
Thank you for your support for our forestry projects. We offer 3 options depending on your situation:

1- If you are able to anticipate the volume of trees you wish to finance, we invite you to make your purchase before the closure of online sales, scheduled for November 1st, 2023.

2- If you expect to reach a minimum of 2,000 trees planted, we can put you in touch with one of our account managers. The purchasing process will then take place off-site.

3- If you are unable to anticipate the volume of trees and do not wish to finance before the closure of our online sales on November 1st, 2023, we regret that we will not be able to accompany you further in your project. However, we have selected other organizations to help you with your project. Please refer to the question: What can I do if I want to continue to act?
