Mangrove regenerates in Indonesia

Plantations continue in Indonesia! In the last two months, our partner Yagasu has planted an additional 2000 mangroves to restore mangroves. Discover the pictures of the plantation!

In order to best prepare the plantation, the members of the Indonesian NGO Yagasu carry out a survey of the plantation area. In order to plant mangroves, the tide must be low.

In the nurseries, the villagers are busy pampering the young trees.

They then transport the plants to the planting area.

Planting can finally take place. Planting mangroves consists of burying the young plants in the mud.
