In early September, designers and creators from all over the world met in Paris for the Who's Next show. For the first time this year, the show hosted IMPACT, the event for responsible fashion. Reforest'Action was a partner of this event.
IMPACT is the first event dedicated to tomorrow's fashion organized at the heart of the Who's next show. Like our partner Green Lion, dozens of committed designers and brands came to present their ethical and ecological creations from September 6th to 9th. Their common ambition: to design responsible fashion.
In addition to honouring tomorrow's fashion designers, the IMPACT organizers wanted to act for the environment by forging a partnership with Reforest'Action. The event has committed to finance the planting of 2000 trees alongside us to restore degraded forests in France and various inter-tropical countries. To go further, IMPACT also invited visitors to the show to reduce and offset the CO2 emissions linked to their travel to the event.
"If we have the means to act on our emissions production for the construction of our event, the movements of our visitors and exhibitors go beyond our sphere. We needed to propose an action solution," comments Virginie Balta, IMPACT's CSR manager.
During the 4 days of the event, Reforest'Action had a stand alongside the UN stand. Many professional and private visitors flocked there to discover our actions and their positive impacts. Stéphanie Bonet, partnership manager at Reforest'Action finally had the opportunity to present our activity during a pitch in front of the IMPACT public.
