Résumé du projet
The Bion project is taking place on a small plot of land originally planted with monoculture ash trees. These trees had fallen ill due to chalarosis, a pathogenic fungus that has been invading Europe since the 1990s. In order to maintain a healthy stand and a sustainable forest, the owner planned to clear-cut the trees and replant them with a variety of adapted species. The project involves planting 1,440 trees of 4 hardwood species. This reforestation will ensure a healthy, sustainable forest. It will increase the local forest cover, providing shelter for local flora and fauna and storing carbon.Principales essences :
Quercus petraea, Quercus pubescens, Sorbus torminalis, Pyrus pyraster
